Dresses covered with sparkles were the right choice for the red carpet for actresses Angelina Jolie, Anne Hathaway and Olivia Wilde at the Golden Globe Awards ceremony.

Pink
Pink frocks were also very prominently on display at this year’s Golden Globes. Various types of pink frocks were worn by such stars as Vanessa Williams’s and Megan Fox’s baby pink and Lea Michele’s salmon pink. Though pink is not that easy to pull off, especially Emma Stone looked gorgeous wearing a peachy Calvin Klein Collection dress. Her platinum blonde hair and slightly tanned skin color matched perfectly, with a sleek and minimal design clutch bag which is a hot trend.

今回のゴールデン・グローブ賞ではピンク色のドレスが最も多く見られた。ヴァネッサ・ウイリアムスやメガン・フォックスのベビーピンクからリー・ミシェルのサーモンピンクまで、様々な種類のピンク色が登場。着こなすのが難しい色だが、ピーチ色のカルバン・クライン・コレクションのドレスを着用したエマ・ストーンは特にゴージャスだった。彼女のプラチナブロンドヘアと少し日焼けした肌の色ががピーチ色のドレスとマッチし、ミニマルでスリークなクラッチバッグがしっかりとトレンドを押さえている。

Neutral Colors
Neutral Colors  which were the trend of the spring and summer 2011 were seen as the second most popular colors at the event. 14-year-old Hailee Steinfeld, the acclaimed young actress from the film “True Grit”, chose a dress from the promising designer Prabal Gurung complimenting her youthful appearance.

2011年春夏のトレンドカラーであるニュートラルカラーは、会場で２番目に多く見られた色だった。映画 “True Grit”で演技が絶賛される14歳の注目新人女優ハイリー・ステインフェルはファッション界の新鋭デザイナー、プラバル・グルのドレスをチョイス。年齢相応の若々しさを醸し出していた。
