週末は、COLTONS NEWYORK LLC.代表、Hidekoさんが主催するパーティーケータリングのお手伝いをさせて頂きました。Hidekoさんは、NYでおもてなしお料理教室も開講されていらっしゃいます。世界の食材を使ったお料理は絶品で、シンプルでモダンなスタイルがニューヨーカーに大人気です。 今回のお客様はチャンご夫婦。愛娘の１歳のお誕生日を家族と友人達でお祝いするパーティーで約２０人のゲストがお見えになりました。こちらのご夫婦、奥様はバーニーズニューヨークでシューズのバイヤーを、旦那様はマンハッタンでアパレルのショールームを経営なさっているそうで、ミッドタウンにあるアパートはとってもお洒落！広々としたリビングルームにあるオープンキッチンも素敵でした。 この日のお料理は、大根のアボガドとシュリンプのせ、キュウリとスパイシーツナ、和牛の焼き肉、エビのフリッター＆チリマヨネーズ、ラビオリ風餃子などなど。パーティーで最も人気だったのが銀ダラの西京焼き。お手製西京味噌に１週間漬けた銀ダラは、ほんのりとした味噌の甘みにしっかりとのった脂が最高においしいです。そして本日の目玉は、にぎり寿司。新鮮なしめ鯖は身が引き締まってさっぱりしているのに脂がたっぷりのった超贅沢な一品でした。お寿司にものすごく良く合います。にぎり寿司のパフォーマンスにはお客様もご満悦されていらっしゃいました。 お土産には秋らしく、カボチャとジンジャーのケーキを頂きました。心がこもったお料理と皆さまの笑顔に癒された素晴らしい夜でした。 COLTONS NEWYORK LLC.
